VMLogin is an antidetect browser. Each browser profile you create gets its own fingerprint, cookies and storage, so you can run many accounts from one computer without them mixing.
A separate fingerprint is only half the job. If every profile connects from the same IP address, sites can still group them together. Give each profile its own proxy and the link is gone. This guide shows how to do that with FonProxy.
Before you start
You need:
- VMLogin installed and signed in.
- A FonProxy account with an active proxy. To try first, use the free test. Plans are on the pricing page.
- The right product for your profiles.
Two kinds of FonProxy products fit antidetect work:
- Rotating residential with a sticky session. One IP per profile for 15, 30 or 60 minutes. The country is set in the username. Good for many short-lived profiles.
- Static IP products (static/ISP, private, mobile per-IP). Each IP has its own port and keeps its country for the whole rental period. Good for accounts you log in to every day.
VMLogin supports HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, which are all available on FonProxy.
Get your FonProxy credentials
Open the FonProxy dashboard. Every proxy you own is one row — host, port, username and password. Hit Copy next to it and you are set.
- Host & port — the same host for all proxies, a different port per proxy.
- Username — your base username, with country or sticky-session suffixes if you need them.
- Password — unless you added your IP to the FonProxy whitelist, in which case leave it empty.
Build the proxy login
Go to the Proxies page in the FonProxy dashboard. The copy buttons give you the line in two formats:
host:port:username:passwordusername:password@host:port
VMLogin can read both formats when you paste them. These are the values inside:
| Field | Example value |
|---|---|
| Host | fon.ac |
| Port | 20001 (one port per proxy, starting at 20001) |
| Username | u_4f1c92ab07de-t_30-s_iall27-c_us |
| Password | YOUR_PASSWORD |
For rotating products, you add options to the base username u_4f1c92ab07de:
- Country:
-c_us. Swap in any ISO code, such asgb,de,brorjp. Leave it out for any country. - Sticky session:
-t_30-s_iall27.t_is the hold time in minutes (15, 30 or 60).s_is a session id you make up. Without this part, the IP changes on every request.
For VMLogin profiles, always use a sticky session. Give every profile a different session id. Pick the country that matches the account's region.
Static IP products take the base username with no suffixes. Pick the port of the IP you want.
You can also skip the password. Add your computer's IP to the whitelist in the FonProxy dashboard, then leave the username and password empty in VMLogin.
Step by step with screenshots
Open the Proxy settings of a browser profile.
Paste host, port, username and password from the FonProxy dashboard.
Batch-import a proxy list to many profiles at once.
Add a proxy to a new profile
- In the VMLogin client, click New browser.
- Set up the basic profile options as you normally would.
- Click Set proxy server.
- Turn on Enable proxy server.
- Pick the proxy type: HTTP, HTTPS or SOCKS5.
- Fill in the fields. The quickest way is to copy the
host:port:username:passwordline from the FonProxy dashboard and use the Paste proxy information button. VMLogin splits the line into the address, port, username and password fields. You can also type each value by hand.

Example only — the field names change between antidetect browsers, but the FonProxy values stay the same.
- Click Test proxy.
- When the test passes, click Save.
To change the proxy of a profile you already have, right-click the profile in the list and choose Edit Proxy Configuration. The same dialog opens.
Check the connection
The Test proxy button is your first check. If it fails, fix the values before you save. VMLogin also checks the proxy when you launch a profile and warns you if the network test fails.
After that, check from inside the profile:
- Launch the profile.
- Open an IP check site, such as browserleaks.com or whoer.net.
- Confirm the IP is not yours and the country is the one in your username.
- Look at the timezone and language the site reports. They should fit the IP's location.
Many profiles: batch import a proxy list
VMLogin can assign proxies to many profiles at once from a plain text file.
- Create a
.txtfile with one proxy per line in this format:proxy type:IP:port:username:password. - In the VMLogin client, select the profiles you want to update. Use Shift or Ctrl to pick several.
- Right-click the selection and choose Batch import proxy to the selected profile.
- Pick your text file.
- Open a few profiles and check that each got the proxy you expected.
Here is a sample file with three FonProxy proxies. They share a port but use different session ids, so each profile gets a different IP:
HTTP:fon.ac:20001:u_4f1c92ab07de-t_60-s_de01ab-c_de:YOUR_PASSWORD
HTTP:fon.ac:20001:u_4f1c92ab07de-t_60-s_de02cd-c_de:YOUR_PASSWORD
HTTP:fon.ac:20001:u_4f1c92ab07de-t_60-s_de03ef-c_de:YOUR_PASSWORD
For static IPs, use one line per IP with its own port and the plain base username.
VMLogin also offers an Excel route that imports proxies together with cookies, and a batch-create feature for making many profiles at once. See the VMLogin help center if you need those.
Match timezone, language and location
Sites check whether your IP, timezone, language and location tell the same story. VMLogin can fill these in from the proxy IP:
- Timezone: turn on Enable setting time zone based on IP. The profile then reports the timezone of the proxy's location. If you turn it off, set the timezone by hand to match the proxy country.
- Language: turn on Set Language Based on IP, or set the language and Accept-Language yourself, for example
en-GBfor a UK proxy. - Geolocation: use Fill geographic location based on IP address so the location matches the proxy.
- WebRTC: make sure WebRTC does not reveal your real IP. Check the profile's WebRTC setting and confirm on a leak test site.
These options rely on the proxy being set first, so add the proxy before you adjust them. If you change a profile's proxy to a new country later, check these values again.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Fix |
|---|---|
| Auth failed or 407 error | Copy the login again from the dashboard. Look for stray spaces. Each suffix needs a leading dash, as in -c_us. |
| Test proxy times out | Check the host is fon.ac and the port is correct. Make sure the proxy type matches what you chose in FonProxy, for example SOCKS5 and not HTTP. |
| Wrong country | Check the -c_ code. For static IPs, check the port. Then re-check the timezone and language in the profile. |
| IP changes mid-session | Add -t_<minutes>-s_<id> to the username. Use t_60 for longer work. For multi-day stability, use a static IP. |
| Works without login on one PC only | You use the IP whitelist. Add the other PC's IP in the FonProxy dashboard, or enter the username and password instead. |
Frequently asked questions
Can I paste the `username:password@host:port` format?
Yes. VMLogin accepts both FonProxy line formats when you paste proxy information.
Do I need a new session id for each profile?
Yes. The same session id gives the same IP, which links the profiles.
What happens when the sticky time runs out?
The session may move to a new IP. For accounts that need the same IP every day, choose a static IP product.
Can I change the proxy without opening the full profile editor?
Yes. Right-click the profile and choose Edit Proxy Configuration. Ready to try it? Grab a free FonProxy test (https://fonproxy.io/en/test) and connect your first VMLogin profile.
